The Butterfly That Landed at Exactly the Right Moment
Butterflies are unpredictable subjects because they rarely remain in one place for long. Photographing one in flight can require patience, quick reactions, and a little luck.
Occasionally, a butterfly lands on someone’s shoulder, fingertip, or nose just as a camera captures the moment.
The contrast between the delicate insect and the person’s surprised expression creates a charming image. If the butterfly spreads its wings, the photograph may resemble a carefully arranged nature portrait.
The person might remain completely still, worried that even the smallest movement will frighten the visitor away.
